Chief Operating Officer & Team Leader Announcment


We are pleased to advise that the Team Leader position for the Client Management Team has been filled with Alison Horner, who was previously working in the team as a Client Liaison Adviser. Alison has been doing a fantastic job in her previous role as Client Liaison Officer and will carry on that great work leading the team.

The recruitment process for the Chief Operating Officer is now complete and I am pleased to announce the successful applicant is Karen Jabbour.

Karen has a number of qualifications that include Forensic Science, Commerce and Leadership and has extensive previous experience in leading and supporting teams and individuals in human service settings. She has experience and skills in Industrial Relations and collaboration to improve systems, practice and process and has used this experience previously to empower vulnerable people through supporting the workforce to do a difficult job well.

Karen’s most recent role was as Director, Services to Young People with the Tasmanian Government where she led a number of strategic reforms relating to youth justice and youth at risk. Karen has also worked previously as the People and Performance Manager for Disability ACT.

Karen will commence working with Mosaic from Tuesday 13th June 2017 and has indicated that she cannot wait to meet everyone.
