Reflecting on my first week in the role of Chief Operating Officer with Mosaic Support Services:

What an exciting ‘whirlwind’ week one has been!  Apart from confirming that the work of Mosaic Support Services is interesting, diverse, innovative and important, I have also established that the ‘Mosaic Family’ are friendly, welcoming, busy and supportive.

I have been struck by the inclusive and passionate people who are Mosaic and their dedication to enriching and improving the lives of people with disabilities.  I have listened with heart to the daily conversations that take place internally within the office.  I have watched in awe as members across individual teams work collaboratively with each other, clients, families and other stakeholders to problem solve, support each other and to achieve dreams for people as part of a client centred approach to practice.

I have many people to meet and much to learn so that I can support the mission of Mosaic fully.  However, what I do already know is that I love the role and the workplace culture. My personal values feel perfectly aligned to those documented and lived by the people of Mosaic and I have never been made to feel more welcome anywhere.  This is a great team to be part of and I already feel very lucky and proud to be here.

I look forward to supporting the team to continue to achieve great things and to extend our boundaries in all that we do and cannot wait to meet those of you that I am yet to come across.

– Chief Operating Officer
