It is with a mixture of elation and sadness that we announce the resignation of our long standing Board Director and current Chairperson, Kate Cuthbertson SC.  Today the Hon Mark Dreyfus KC MP, Attorney-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, announced the appointment of nine new Judges to the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) to hear protection visa and migration cases, of which Kate is one.  You can read the Media Release here.

All of us at Mosaic would like to congratulate Kate on this well deserved appointment and to thank her for her many years of dedication to Mosaic and ensuring quality services to our clients.  We’re sure Kate will continue to enjoy the Mosaic Festival of the Arts and other exhibitions and activities when she gets the chance.

Kate has had a long-standing relationship with Mosaic and its previous organisations having been a Board Director since 2009.  During this time Kate has been a key influencer in the ongoing transformation of the organisation and guided the maturity of Mosaic’s governance, quality and safeguarding activities over this time, including our implementation of the Child and Youth Safe Organisations Framework.  Kate has been a patron for our organisation and actively engaged with our clients and employees.
