Clients and Family Communication - 27 March 2020
To our valued Clients and Families
I wanted to provide you with some further reassurance in these uncertain times and to let you know that Mosaic Support Services is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and emerging Government requirements in relation to infection control, social distancing and strict hygiene practices within our support practices and facilities.
We understand how important the support you receive from Mosaic is and we will continue to provide these ‘Essential Services’ as long as it is deemed safe to do so. We are reassessing this situation constantly in consultation with the NDIA, NDIS Commission and both Federal and State Governments.
As an organisation, we are working on a daily basis with a triaging system to identify modifications to programs and support services as individual circumstances require. We are responding as needed to adapt and ensure we are complying whilst keeping our clients as safe as possible.
As it stands today, we are able to continue many of our services, albeit with carefully considered modifications to group sizes, program locations, appropriate facilities and supporting those who live with us full time in a considered way. Your Program Managers, Coordinators or Team Leaders will continue to be in contact to let you know of any adjustments to the support we provide as the need arises.
If there are any significant directions from the Government in relation to the closure of ‘Essential’ Disability Support Services, rest assured we will be in contact with you immediately.
We are endeavouring to communicate as frequently as practical through your Program Managers, Coordinators and Team Leaders. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us through your preferred method of phone, email or in person so we can help clarify and ease your mind.
Kind Regards
Lynne Harwood
Chief Executive Officer
