Ammarra Ensemble & Dance Explosion
Since its debut in 2016, Ammarra has grown into a powerful contemporary dance ensemble whose performers share, in movement, the stories of their own lived experience that is self-choreographed by each dancer.
Ammarra’s 2020 performance is all about the rollercoaster of disruption that has defined 2020; isolation, separation and the joyful creative force of reconnection, also being joined by some special guests!

Centrestage Theatre Presents: Opacity!
Centrestage is a seasoned production company that has produced films screened at the State Cinema as well as live performances at the MAC, TMAG, DEC and Clarence Rosny Barn. This year the group will premiere its latest film, Vignettes, at C3 Convention Centre on 14th Nov. But at its heart, the group relishes the opportunity for storytelling in live theatre. Opacity is the state in which something is difficult to see through; normally a great source of frustration, but at the same time, with perseverance, it can lead to beauty. Centrestage’s Opacity draws on this emotional state to create a mesmerizing and abstract event along with special guests.
