Community Access - Multimedia

Program overview
Do you love computers, technology, filmmaking, and all things digital? Mosaic’s Multimedia program offers a wide range of digital mediums including:

- photography and filmmaking,
- sound-art,
- radio broadcasting,
- image, video, and sound editing,
- and more!

Clients in these programs work to produce their own short films, sound recordings, mixed-media works, and broadcasts, they have the opportunity to engage with a number of industry professionals, as well as working alongside inhouse Mosaic tutors. Our tutors are specialists in their artistic field, and work to support and nurture the skills of the individual clients, as well as facilitating eccentric and innovative group pieces.

Our city venue has been purpose built for our creative programs and features a radio room, dance studio, computer lab and art gallery.

Additionally, our Multimedia program is affiliated with prominent Radio Station; Edge Radio and have dedicated regular weekly broadcast called Xpress Radio.

Outcomes for clients
- Explore technical parts of photography, filming, or radio production.
- Gain confidence and work as part of a team.
- Develop a range of skills related to filmmaking including the development and understanding of lighting, sounds, camera skills, and visual effects.
- Create productions that are part of exhibitions.
